Can you install synthetic grass over an existing real grass lawn?
Unfortunately not, existing grass needs to be removed before your new synthetic grass lawn can be installed.
Does the synthetic grass come with a warranty?
Yes, all the fake turf we supply comes complete with a 7 year manufacturer’s warranty for peace of mind.
Is the artificial grass protected from the sun?
Yes, all of our artificial grass products come pre-treated with a UV protectant to protect them from the harsh Australian sun. This is backed by a 7 year manufacturer’s warranty.
Is the artificial grass safe for children and pets?
Absolutely, there are no hazardous materials used in any of the grass products we supply. They are lead free and safe for the whole family along with animals of all kinds.
How long does installation take?
This is dependent on many factors including the size of the area needing to be covered and the complexity of the environment (e.g. slopping ground, shapes needed to be cut for the grass to fit). Please contact us with your requirements and we can provide you with an estimate.
What areas of Sydney do you service?
We are based in McGraths Hill in Sydney’s west but service all of the Sydney metro area including (but not limited to) the Hills district, North Sydney, South Sydney, Western Sydney and Eastern Sydney along with Blue Mountains, Illawarra, Wollongong and Newcastle.
My lawn is a strange shape, will that be a problem?
Not at all! We are skilled in cutting synthetic grass to meet any shape requirements. There are no size restrictions, the grass can be cut to suit any lawn requirements. In the below photo you will see one of the contour cuts we have done for a recent synthetic putt putt lawn.
Does the fake turf you supply and install contain lead?
No, all of our products are tested against Australian standards and are totally safe for kids and pets.
Are you able to install fake lawn on different surfaces such as conrete?
Yes, fake lawn can be installed nearly anywhere. We can glue it onto concrete, pavers and tiles. Contact us to find out more about your specific needs.
What sort of care and maintenance is required?

Does artificial grass get hot in the sun?
As artificial grass is made from synthetic plastic it will be hotter than traditional lawn under direct sunlight. The good news is, it will also cool down quickly. Brushing your grass to keep synthetic strands upright instead of compacted will assist with reducing temperatures and if needed the grass can be hosed with water to further reduce heat.
What are the benefits of synthetic grass?

Is synthetic grass the same as astro-turf?
No, our products are far more advanced than the ‘astro turf’ products which originated in the 1960s. The technology used to manufacture synthetic grass today is much better than in years gone by and it is continually being improved for both look and feel and practicability.
What is the life expectancy of synthetic grass?
This can depend upon a number of factors including climate, use and how well you maintain it. If you take the time to care for your synthetic grass lawn you should receive around 15 years of use from it.
Can we park our car on synthetic grass?
There is no problem with parking your car on synthetic grass. The only prerequisites are that the surface has been properly prepared beforehand (contact us to find out more) and that you don’t leave your car running idle for a long period of time.
Is artificial grass flammable?
The material used to make the grass is flame resistant. A direct flame will melt the grass but it will not catch on fire.
What happens when it rains, does the water sit on top of the grass?
No, the grass backing plate comes with drainage holes which draw the water away into the sand below, this then disperses into the ground. This ensures no puddling and keeps your backyard mud free.
